About Me
Thanks for stopping by! I'm a writer based in Calgary, Alberta, but I was born and raised in Flin Flon, Manitoba. I'm currently working on an adult suspense novel and have written a young adult novel that I'm looking to publish.
I also write short stories and personal essays and I plan to share some of them on this site.
When I'm not reading or writing, I manage to find myself downhill skiing, dabbling in adult gymnastics or canoe racing up north - all of which make me incredibly nervous.

My Great-Grandmother Made An Unthinkable Sacrifice For A Future In Canada
Mary left Ukraine when she was 8 years old to escape a violent uprising. She never saw her parents again.
“It was February 29 again, and I was wondering which member of my family would try to kill me this time.” From this intriguing premise, the stories in this collection of short fiction by new Canadian writers map out fifteen wildly different approaches to the same terrain. From comedies about vampire conversions and French Canadian werewolves to tense family dramas about humanoid robots and fairy-zombie hybrids, these stories chart a new set of possiblities for short fiction in Canada today.
I'm so honoured to have my short story, The Secret's in the Sauce included in the anthology.

Personal Essay/humour
"There I was, clinging to the tree lined edge of the ski trail, hands braced behind me, legs splayed in front, like a frightened crab. I swallowed desperate gulps of mountain air and cursed myself for being talked into this ridiculous situation. Welcome to family ski day."
